네이밍 조작을 계속하기 위해서 문맥이 필요한 지점에서, 해결된 객체가 문맥이 아닌 경우에, 이 예외는 throw 됩니다. 예를 들어, Context.destroy()에서는, 지정한 객체가 문맥일 필요가 있습니다. 문맥이 아닌 경우, NotContextException 가 throw 됩니다. 다른 예로서 Context 메소드의 해결중에 발생한 비문맥이 있습니다.

또, 이 예외가 throw 되는 것은 DirContext 등의, 문맥의 특정의 subtype이 필요한 때에, 해결된 객체가 문맥이어도 필요한 subtype이 아닌 경우입니다.
